We like to think of ourselves as more than just a vendor – we are part of the team. We foster close ties and nurture ongoing relationships. Our ongoing association with SNHU is a great example of this approach. SNHU has undergone tremendous growth and we have supported them since 2006, providing course development, process development, and course revisions. Recent collaborations include developing new course designs, including creating a workshop model for their online writing programs. And through a beta partnership in conjunction with Educrates and the Course Crater, we are helping SNHU pioneer a brand new look within Blackboard.

At Elearning Innovation, we are proud of our connection to SNHU. We think our longstanding relationship results from striving to customize our service to their process and our desire to work together to truly meet their requirements.

Hazmat Operations Training

In conjunction with Educrates, Elearning Innovation provided instructional design support to develop a 16 hour HAZMAT Operations level training course. Collaborating with Lawrence Zacarese, MPA, CHCM, CHSP, EMT-P as the Subject Matter Expert, we hope to launch this new course offering in the coming year!

Boston Architectural College

For the past two years, we have worked with the BAC to help grow their online Sustainable Design and MDS programs. Much like our ongoing relationship with SNHU, we have become part of the BAC team, working alongside SMEs and the staff of the online group. With the goal of raising the bar on student experience and retention, we have helped bring consistency and instructional design standards to the instructor-developed courses. We have also assisted with course conversions from Angel to Moodle. And, we have advocated for and designed a more student-centered approach by adding interactive learning into the courses.

US Army – Train the Trainer

Created for the US Army, this series of courses was designed as a train-the-trainer program. Elearning Innovation led the project, providing subject matter expertise, creating the concept and content for all six courses, and preparing a comprehensive 150+ page facilitation guide. Our team integrated custom Flash simulations to create an experiential learning journey for students. We used SCORM to track student progress, and bookmark their journey and communicate with the grade book through the learning in Flash. Elearning Innovation worked with several key partners on this project. Aelearn developed SCORM packaging, custom Flash and LMS integration, and provided LMS support and development in Blackboard 9.1; Doublejump Interactive created custom graphics, Flash simulations, and learning objects; and Cliff Biram Productions provided custom video shooting and editing.

National Guard Youth Challenge – Dare Mighty Things

ELearning innovation provided instructional design services to Dare Mighty Things to support their work on the National Guard Youth Challenge Program. Using research narratives provided by the client, we designed a Flash interactive learning environment for the students, which was ultimately developed by Raka. The learning path was designed to encourage students to integrate newly learned information with the already known. We created exercises that employed multimedia, engaging multiple senses, and promoting student involvement and active learning. Wrap around activities rounded off the Flash activity for a complete learning experience that included group collaboration.
